At Rymax, we practice what we preach. We have a robust employee engagement program in place that rewards employees for years of service, performance and special achievements. This week we’re bringing you a first-hand account of our employee recognition program in action:
Meet Sharlene. Sharlene has been with the company for over a year and a half now and recently used her points to redeem for an item she has had her eye on for quite some time. We asked her a few questions about how she earned her points, what she redeemed them for, why she chose that item and how she felt about participating in an employee recognition program. Here’s what she told us:
Rymax managers are encouraged to reward the team members who they feel go the extra mile and show an increase in productivity while on the job. I first started accumulating points during my time as a customer relations associate. My manager used friendly competition as a way to encourage and motive each team member. Every month she would tally up each employee’s contribution to the departments email inbox and would distribute points to the employee who responded to the most inquires that month. In addition, I have earned points for training new team members, as well as assisting with projects and exceeding performance goals.
After saving up enough points, I was eager to redeem for the product! After looking through the website and the extensive list of products, I finally added a pair of Saint Laurent Rectangular Sunglasses in Havana to my shopping cart and checked out!
The decision wasn’t exactly easy since we offer so many on-trend brands and styles, but this pair of sunglasses was one I have been wanting to get my hands on for quite some time. One of my guilty pleasures is fashion. Staying up to date with the hottest looks is something I always enjoy and love the fact that Rymax is able to provide me with the markets latest and greatest styles.
