Employee Appreciation, Employee of the Month, Employee Recognition
Wildcard Wednesday: Employee of the Month!
It’s Wildcard Wednesday! On Wildcard Wednesday, we bring you whimsical, yet relevant insight that helps to connect our world to the worlds of both our clients and their customers.
Here at Rymax, we practice what we preach. In addition to our current employee recognition program, this January we implemented an Employee of the Month program as well. We believe that when you recognize and appreciate your top talent, everyone benefits. When an employee is recognized for a job well done, it further motivates the individual and strengthens their performance, thereby making both the individual and your organization more successful.
Each member of the Rymax team plays an important role in contributing to the success of our programs and bolsters our position as the #1 Loyalty Marketing Provider.
Today we take the time to acknowledge not only one, but three of our fellow employees who have each individually received employee of the month within these past three months. Each of these individuals have in some way positively impacted our programs and thus, our brand partners, our clients and their customers.
Here’s a little bit about them and their contributions to Rymax…
John Moran – Warehouse team – John is a valued member of our Warehouse Team. John began his employment with Rymax the week of Thanksgiving, 2015. While that alone could be enough to scare anyone away, John took it all in stride! Since day one, John has excelled as a member of his team. He exhibits a positive, enthusiastic attitude and is always willing to go above and beyond the job scope without request to do so.
Most recently, in the past month with an extra warehouse workload and a decreased staff, John stepped up his commitment to the team by arriving early, staying late, and increasing his efforts on the job to ensure the department’s objectives were met. John has taken great self-initiative and has challenged himself to learn each and every facet of the Warehouse operation, a quality that aided the team in achieving its first quarter goals. John has recently excelled with taking on leadership in the Pack Room and is a true team

January Employee of the Month
Gabrielle Carpenter – Customer Relations Supervisor – January is an intense month of escalations with customers from Q4 shipment/delivery issues. Gabrielle handled all of the issues flawlessly and also supported her team in escalations handled independently without a Supervisor transfer. Gabrielle’s ability to turn a negative experience for a customer into a really positive one is her strongest characteristic. Customers email all the time to express their thanks for the extra steps she takes and the cheer in her voice, December/January is the time of year where her abilities really shine. Gabrielle is the best example possible for our team who can overhear every call she takes. Having someone on the front line speaking with our most upset customers and turning them into happy customers is key to the continued success of our programs and satisfaction of our clients.
