Here at Rymax, we practice what we preach. In addition to our current employee recognition program, this January we implemented an Employee of the Month program as well. We believe that when you recognize and appreciate your top talent, everyone benefits. When an employee is recognized for a job well done, it further motivates the individual and strengthens their performance, thereby making both the individual and your organization more successful.

Each member of the Rymax team plays an important role in contributing to the success of our programs and bolsters our position as the #1 Loyalty Marketing Provider.

The individual awarded Employee of the Month, has in some way positively impacted our programs and thus, our brand partners, our clients and their customers. Today we take the time to acknowledge the Employee of the Month for May, Gavin Flowers, Senior Graphic Designer.

Here’s a little bit more about Gavin…

Tagged as one of the most creative Rymax team members in the building, Gavin, in his role as Senior Graphic Designer, is not just doodling on his computer each day. During the month of May, Gavin seamlessly executed to perfection his high profile projects which included the USA Today ad design, MaxSite web mock-ups and various customer E-blast designs. In addition, Gavin has been instrumental in assisting with the on-board, welcome, and proper training of the creative team’s newest member, Gerald over the course of the last three months.

A few words from Gavin

Time at Rymax: Going on 3 years

Position: Senior Graphic Designer

Job Description: “I am a part of the fantastic creative team. Some of my responsibilities include: brand campaigns, presentations, Maxsites, eblasts, various marketing materials, print and digital advertising, as well as any other special projects that may arise. If I have done my job right, someone flipping through a magazine or scrolling through a website will stop and look at one of our ads and figure out quickly who and what Rymax can do and hopefully they’ll also think in the back of their mind, ‘Wow! This ad looks great!’”

Best Employee Redemption Product for Gavin: “After owning a series of poor quality backpacks, I redeemed for a black MCM backpack that is fantastic. It’s not only stylish and goes with everything, but I carry my life in it at all times, so it’s very important.”

Gavin’s favorite employee benefit at Rymax: “I love, love, love summer hours. It’s only one day a week, but it makes the whole week feel magical.”

Given the chance to be anyone for the day Gavin would be: “A superhero of some kind, with some sort of flying ability or maybe even teleport ability. Anything that allows me to get somewhere without driving, taking a bus or a train. I think life would be so much easier if you could just be somewhere instantly instead of always trying to get there.”
