Employee of the Month, Fresh Perspective Friday
FRESH PERSPECTIVE FRIDAY: EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
Welcome to our new installment, Fresh Perspective Fridays. FPF will serve as a vehicle for us to bring you inside the doors of Rymax – where you can better get to know our people, our culture, our philosophies and values.
Here at Rymax, we practice what we preach. In addition to our current employee recognition program, we have also implemented an Employee of the Month program. We believe that when you recognize and appreciate your top talent, everyone benefits. When an employee is recognized for a job well done, it further motivates the individual and strengthens their performance, thereby making both the individual and your organization more successful.
Each member of the Rymax team plays an important role in contributing to the success of our programs and helps bolster our position as the #1 Loyalty Marketing Provider.
The individual awarded Employee of the Month, has in some way positively impacted our programs and thus, our brand partners, our clients and their customers. Today we take the time to acknowledge the Employee of the Month for June, Kayla Beley, Customer Relations Associate.
Here’s a little bit more about Kayla…
Although quiet, Kayla has made a big splash in the Customer Relations Department during the year she has been with Rymax. Over the course of the last month Kayla handled the highest call volumes while juggling a heavy workload of internal requests from Purchasing, Sales and Logistics. Kayla’s ability to handle such a high volume of work and maintain a high level of work product is certainly a great achievement. Finally, Kayla has been helpful in training and on-boarding two new team members in the department.
A few words from Kayla
Time at Rymax: 1 year
Job Description: My role is to provide end-users with a positive and satisfactory customer experience by assisting them with product, return and claim inquiries and status updates. I also assist other departments in handling customer related matters.
How Kayla’s job position impacts our rewards and recognition programs: As a customer relations associate, I feel that an extraordinary customer experience can positively and significantly contribute to the success of our programs. A satisfied customer impacts the success of a rewards program as they govern the volume of transactions.
What she likes best about our employee recognition program: What I like best about our employee recognition program is the motivation it ignites in each employee. I feel our program gives everyone an equal opportunity to thrive.
Favorite employee benefit: Summer Fridays! It is a great kick start to the weekends.
Favorite activity outside work: My favorite activity outside of work has to be hiking. I always feel revitalized after a good hike and I love finding new trails to try out.
Best Vacation: The best vacation I have been on is my most recent one to Northern California where I biked over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, enjoyed a hot springs in Mendocino County, sampled wine in Napa Valley, hiked through Muir Woods and explored in Yosemite. All in 5 days!
